The Bethany Beach Business Forum, composed of business owners, members of town council and Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce representatives, recently announced its first Wags, Witches, and Warlocks event, set for Saturday, Oct. 29.
Events will be going on throughout the day in Bethany, including a pets and kids costume parade and contest with proceeds to benefit local animal shelters.
Other activities include pumpkin decorating, crafts, a DJ playing Halloween-themed music, trick-or-treating at downtown Bethany businesses, restaurant crawl, hayrides, pet adoptions and more.
Registration for the parade and costume contests is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in front of the bandstand area in downtown Bethany. Registration to enter a pet or child in the costume contest is a donation of $5 or a can of dog/cat food with all proceeds to benefit local animal shelters.
