Sea Colony Tennis Center, located just south of Bethany Beach, Delaware, is hosting a trio of United States Tennis Association (USTA) sponsored tennis tournaments throughout September – The Sea Colony Fall Junior Open, the Sea Colony Fall Adult Classic and the Middlestates Wheelchair Championships.
The Sea Colony Fall Junior Open is for boys and girls from ages 12 to 18. Held Sept. 14-16, these hard court singles and doubles tournaments include a first match losers’ consolation bracket. The cost is $33 per singles player and $18 per doubles players. Entries must be in by Sept., Sept 9.
The Sea Colony fall Adult Classic will take place Sept. 22-23 and is open to men and women with NTRP ratings of 3.0-5.0. This hard court event includes singles, doubles and mixed doubles events with first match loser’s consolation bracket. Entry fee is $38.13 per singles player and $26 per doubles player. Entries must be in by Sunday, September 16.
The Middlestates Wheelchair Championships are set for Sept. 29-30 and open to men and women in the A, B, C, and D divisions. A free clinic will be also be offered Friday, September 28 at 6 p.m. Entry fee is $70.38 per player, and all entries for this event must be in by Sunday, Sept. 22.
