A 3,700 mile trip across the United States to raise money and awareness for increased world health efforts will culminate on the shores of Bethany Beach, Delaware once again, as the Ride for World Health bike tour goes coast to coast with its message.
By donating proceeds from the ride to nonprofit organizations with goals consistent with its mission, Ride for World Health aims to address global health disparities by focusing on education, advocacy and fundraising. This year, Village Health Works and Empower and Advance are the beneficiaries of the Ride’s efforts.
The near two-month trip, will see the riders stop at numerous locations to head discussions on issues related to healthcare – domestically and abroad – such as Poverty and Disease, Healthcare Access, Women’s and Children’s Health, and Infectious Diseases.
The riders will dip their tires in the Pacific Ocean on March 20 in San Diego, Cal. and do the same in the Atlantic Ocean in Bethany Beach on May 12.
Good luck to the Ride for World Health and safe travels!
